PPG Sail into First Place at Dragon Fest

In Turkey, our PPG power team conquered the Dragon Fest Rowing Competition. Taking first place on the podium the amazing and dynamic team broke records and did our Turkish and Global PPG groups proud.

Each year in Istanbul, Turkey, Dragon Fest, a popular competition day, is held for corporate teams who go head to head in various activities. One of the companies involved this year was our very own PPG team who made their first ever appearance at the 65 company wide event by entering the rowing competition.

Our 19 man team was placed into the FunFun category, a category that is specifically for first timers and beginners. The spirited team did not train prior the event and instead arrived at the event with heaps of enthusiasm and energy, pumping one another up, ready for a day of fun and teamwork. There was no preparing them for the records that they were about to break throughout the day.

The 19 man PPG rowing team, built up from members of different SBUs included an on board drummer and Captain, responsible for setting the rowing pace and rhythm. The PPG team's success made a lasting impression on all the teams taking part in the event. In true PPG style the team showed that through excellent communication and team work a they achieve tasks that may seem near the impossible by the individual.
