Warsaw Welcomes the WLC in Poland's Launch Event

Sixty women from PPG business units from across Poland met to talk about the role of women in our organisation and about the actions that the company needs to take to build diversity within PPG.

The members of the first PPG Women’s Leadership Council meeting held in Poland discussed career development and planning possibilities. They also participated in workshops and discussions with PPG business leaders from Poland and the EMEA.

During the meeting, the participants had a chance to talk to Isabella Ercole (WLC EMEA leader) concerning the activity of the Women’s Council in our region and listen to the discussion panel, in which Johanna Fagerlund, Małgorzata Peter, Anna Biedroń and  Maria Bogdańska talked about their career paths in PPG.

In the second part of the day our colleagues split into groups to take part in workshops that dealt with: career management, positive feedback or the work and life balance. The conference was also an opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues from other SBUs, and to establish relations with business leaders.

Managers from nearly all of the PPG business units in Poland were present, including EMEA leaders Karin Priarollo, HR EMEA Manager, Stefano Della Lucia, IC & Packaging EMEA Operations and IC Supply Chain Manager and WLC members  Christine Camsuzou, Rene Laten and Sean Lambourne. The Warsaw meeting was the first and surely not last opportunity to discuss, exchange opinions and strengthen the role of women in PPG.
