A Passion for Art Brings Beauty to Marseille

French PPG affiliate Station Peinture recently supplied the paint to Visit’Action, a local association in Marseille.

The aim of the initiative is to bring art to the city, to create a free, open-air gallery, and to unite and engage the local residents in the heart of the 14th district of the city.

Visit’Action was launched by volunteer artists from the Marseille-based art collective 'We Records' and since the beginning of the year, nine artists have been working hard in the Visitation district to restore the entrance halls of 11 buildings with original artwork, and three outdoor frescoes. There are plans for at least a further eight pieces for the rest of the year.

Guittet paint products were used for the project (Montyl and Satinéa Velours).

Station Peinture pledges its ongoing support to communities, particularly in a local capacity, everyone in the team is genuinely passionate about the projects Visit’Action is involved in and the excitement grows every time they're informed about a new piece of art in the pipeline.

The affiliate of PPG has been backing Visit’Action for almost three years now and provides technical support for the projects as well as supplying paint for the production of the artworks. Sales reps are proud that their brands are going in to such important and innovative work.
