Our colleagues recently installed and redecorated a brand-new, state-of-the-art graphic design classroom in the Technical Secondary School in Ostrow, Poland, as part of our community engagement grant!
Modernizing the Classroom for Future Designers
The classroom had become a little run-down over the years with furniture from the 70s The school’s graphic design teacher was on the lookout for help funding new equipment.
The colors of the walls had become discouraging to creative minds and equipment was old. A more modern classroom was necessary for students looking to develop their skills in graphic design.
Our colleagues knew the department was in need of essential equipment for these students to thrive. So, we gave it a fresh lick of paint and a whole load of new tech, including a 3D printer!
Hi-Tech Equipment for Kids
Our volunteers managed to repaint the graphic design classroom in just two days! And with the walls now bright the children have an inspiring environment to learn.
Imagine the possibilities these children now have with access to a 3D printer - most workplaces don’t even have hardware this hi-tech! It’s well-known that, with the right tools, productivity in children can soar.
Our donations also included new computer monitors, a screen-printing machine and some new, modern furniture. Now, the school’s aspirational graphic designers will be able to study using front line, advanced equipment. The new computer monitors (which have much higher resolutions) and furniture will also help the students to study in a more comfortable environment.
We’re looking forward to seeing what the next generation of innovators can achieve with these tools at their disposal!
