Guittet Paints Refurbish Legendary St. Tropez Café

The historic Le Sénéquier, one of the busiest hotspots in the port of St. Tropez, is ready for tourist and celebrity season thanks to PPG’s Guittet paint brand.

Fresh coats of Guittet’s durable Orion Soleil Satin and Europan Soleil Satin have recently given the quirky red triangular tables of this quayside institution a new lustre and shine.

The café, dating back to 1887, is recognised by vacation web sites as part of the quintessential St. Tropez experience; more than 2,000 people visit the café every day during busy summer months to watch passersby, spot a famous face, or take in an unforgettable St. Tropez sunset.

PPG sales representatives Frédéric Faraut and Frédéric Menard worked closely with the restaurant owner and general contractor to ensure that the project was completed smoothly, seamlessly, and according to all specifications. Based on its success, the general contractor has selected PPG to provide Guittet paints for several other luxury projects in France.

It was a privilege and an honor to be part of the Le Sénéquier restoration, but we are also excited to showcase Guittet paints at other luxury sites in France. By listening to the needs of the customer, our team delivered an exceptional product and opened the door to additional opportunities. We look forward to getting started.

Frédéric Ménard, Sales Representative, Guittet
