PPG Partner with the Confederation of Artisans and Small Enterprises

PPG and its architectural coatings business unit in France has renewed its partnership with the Confederation of Artisans and Small Enterprises (CAPEB) to help train and inform painters on current market requirements related to sustainability development and the occupational risks prevention in France. The organizations have been partners since 2014.

The CAPEB collaboration is also designed to raise awareness of other health and safety practices, and help French painters strengthen their skills at the job site and in business operations. Proposed workshops will focus on topics such as accessibility, management of paint waste, indoor air quality, or ways to improve the profitability of worksites.

PPG will use its integrated distribution network of 180 Seigneurie stores throughout France to reach the painters. For example, technical health and safety documents developed in partnership with the National Union of Craftspeople Painting, Glazing and Coatings will be available at the stores. In addition, painters will participate with PPG representatives to the evaluation of PPG new product development.

We want to make sure that painters understand and practice essential health and safety measures. We also want to develop innovative solutions and products that improve the working conditions of painters, as well as the quality  of painters’ professional works.

Our partnership with CAPEB allows us to achieve these goals while also promoting PPG to this strategic customer segment.
