A Passion for Quality, a Quality Man

Benjamin Benito is a true PPG legend, and his career at our company spans a huge 34 years!

Since starting in the R&D labs for Automotive and Industrial coatings in 1983, Benjamin has worked in some majorly challenging projects in EMEA and across the globe. In 2010 he was promoted to Quality Assurance and BPI (Business Process Improvement) Manager in the Automotive business for Spain and Portugal working out of the Laguna de Duero site.

Benjamin has a passion for the continuous improvement of processes as well as adamant use of BPI tools. He even developed the CAIR tool (Correcting Adjustment/Incident Reporting) for managing quality issues. He's also the driver of the crater prevention program for Valladolid site. Thanks to his unparalleled and ferocious investigatory skills, you can count on Benjamin to find the root cause of any issue such as his work in raw materials resulting in cost savings for PPG and our clients.

His efforts to coordinate and manage Customer Quality Audits are reflected in the always outstanding results, the PSA QSB+ Audit at Valencia Plant in 2016 was particularly successful. Benjamin always wears the 'customer-glasses' and is very keen to improve processes to satisfy our customers' needs.

He is a true, reliable person and is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to PPG processes and products. Customers know that if he is involved in the investigation of any issue, he will not stop until he finds the root cause, and will work to coordinate the implementation of actions to ensure issues are never repeated in the future.

For him, Quality is always first, and he is devoted in ensuring it in every aspect of his daily work. He is a very reliable colleague and makes it very easy to work with him in any project.  As one of our most valuable assets at PPG, his mantra is:
