Going from Strength to Strength
Originally from Barcelona, Ignasi joined us 23 years ago as training and technical manager for the Automotive Refinish Iberian team.
Before Ignasi started with us, he had been working as a freelance engineer and also owned his own paint factory!

One Company, Never Standing Still
Since joining our team, Ignasi has been involved in many different roles within the Automotive Refinish business and has enjoyed each job and each team he has managed to the maximum. To him, they’ve each been another opportunity to learn and grow.
"In July 2016, I was invited to my current role as product platform manager refinish for EMEA, for which I relocated to the European headquarters in Switzerland."
Key areas of his current role are to identify customer needs and product gaps, to work with R&D on developing new products, and to help launch them.
I’m very proud to manage a team of people developing and managing the refinish segments’ product portfolios, delivering technical market support, and being involved in the labeling of our products for Automotive Refinish.

Ignasi loves to cook for others and has even won prizes for baking – his colleague-endorsed Tarte Tatin is incredible!
He also enjoys walking and trekking, gardening, model-making and music – to be more precise, Bruce Springsteen’s music, from which he gets much inspiration.
Twenty-three Years and Counting
Twenty-three years is a long time and as Ignasi says, he was lucky to meet many great people and experience many funny moments with them. Looking back at his career, Ignasi has learned a lot of useful things:
Listening to colleagues and customers, as well as observing end-users, is the key to success. Observing, asking, and listening have to be our source of inspiration.
He loves reading the news and success stories of his colleagues around the world. It reminds him of what a big and great company we are. It, therefore, is fitting that his story now joins them. As Ignasi’s personal outlook is always positive and forward-thinking, we believe him when he says he stands by his motto of “In this company, only great things and successes are to come.”
