3,000 days without I&I at Caivano, Italy

Environmental, health and safety (EHS) is a top priority in our plants around EMEA and all of our staff respect and understand the importance of adherence to rules and regulations.

As a result we have great I&I (reportable injury and illness) rates as a whole but the Caivano plant in Italy has really pushed the boat out with their new record of remarkable 3,000 days without I&I!

Employees at the PPG automotive OEM coatings and industrial coatings plant are preparing a facility-wide celebration for the major milestone. The impressive safety stretch began in 2009 and continues today thanks to a safety-conscious culture.
We are very proud of this achievement, getting our people back home in safe way every day remains our main commitment.
Marco Cantilena, plant manager Caivano

The effort also demonstrates employees' commitment to work together to build and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
