PPG AC UK & Ireland Celebrates The Tour!

The Tour de Yorkshire is a three-day road cycling race which takes place every year in Yorkshire, England.

It started in May 2015 as a legacy event following the significant success when the region was chosen for the Grand Depart for the Tour de France in 2014. As part of the third stage of the race, The Tour De Yorkshire came through Birstall and bikes passed right by the entrance to the PPG AC UK & Ireland site!

PPG AC UK & Ireland employees were invited  to spectate and enjoy traditional fish and chips on PPG. More than 200 employees and their family members attended on the day to cheer on the cyclists.

Children and adults alike enjoyed painting and colouring activities, PPG party bags and face painters as they celebrated what is fast becoming a very popular and proud Yorkshire tradition.
